A (small) sculpture - part of the Transformações & Imperfeições project - built with found objects - a long cable & a mirror. The wire as a basic example of our culture, where electricity is taken for granted, but also in terms of communication technologies from cable-tv via broadband to wireless technologies. Another aspect is, that it is the 'ground' wire (copper wire with green & yellow plastic cover). Ground wires act as a safety valve for current that takes unintentional paths (away from the equipment it is supposed to be serving).
